Released New Hörbücherei App (Talkin Book Library App) for iPhone, iPad, and Android

The North German Talking Book Library for People with a Print Disability (Norddeutsche Hörbücherei für blinde, seh- und lesebehinderte Menschen) has released the new Hörbücherei app (Talking Book Library app) developed by visorApps. The new app is similar to our successful Blibu NBH&CB app, but its functionality is limited to borrowing and playing DAISY Talking Books. It is intended for people with a print disability who are not blind or partially sighted. This includes people with dyslexia and people who are not able to hold a book due to a physical disability. To make use of the Talking Book Library easier for these readers, who do not require Braille books and audio described content, the new app focusses on DAISY Talking Books only.

The Hörbücherei app for iPhone and iPad is available on the App Store. The Android version may be downloaded from the Play Store.
