System Requirements

The ColorVisor runs on all iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches that provide at least one camera and that provide iOS version 5.0 or later. Currently this are the following:

  • iPhone 5, 4S, 4, and 3GS
  • iPod touch 4th and 5th generation
  • iPad 2 and the new iPad (in iPhone mode)

On the iPad 2 and the new iPad, the ColorVisor runs in the iPhone mode.
The iPhone 3GS, the iPod touch, and the iPads do not support a torch mode for their cameras. Therefore, scanning colors under bad lighting conditions is not advisable.
